Hi! I’m glad to meet you. But who am I, and what do I do at your local Beach Boulevard of Cars dealership? Ask me a few questions, and get to know me a little.
Where will I see you working when I visit the Beach Boulevard of Cars?
You may not actually see me when you visit one of the 14 dealerships in our family. I am often hidden from the public view.
What kind of uniform do you wear to work every day?
Instead of a suit or polo shirt, I usually wear coveralls or rugged work pants, gloves, eye protection, and boots. I am prepared to get a little dirty, but I also think about my safety when on the job.
Did you receive specialized training for your position?
Yes, I attended a trade school for several years and also work to keep updated with online and in-person training. I may have been an apprentice for a few years before receiving my certification. I work hard to develop and maintain my skills and knowledge.
Does everyone in your department have the same certification?
While many of my co-workers have earned at least one certification, only a few have the Master badge. This indicates mastery in all areas. We may also have earned a factory certification.
What is factory certification?
Factory-trained indicates that I have passed certifications that focus on the particular design of a manufacturer such as Chevrolet, Kia, or Jeep. We have access to support and information specific to your vehicle that surpasses ASE certification.
Who am I?
I am your hardworking Certified Technician who is responsible for conducting general maintenance, recalls, repairs, and warranty service on your SUV, truck, or car.
