If art is more your thing, step into the Huntington Beach Art Center with rotating exhibits, lectures, and educational programs discussing works in a variety of mediums.

Go the Extra Mile for the Surf City Marathon

If staying active is your way of embracing beach culture, February brings you the Surf City Marathon. This hugely popular event has local hotels fully booked. There is a wellness and health expo on the day before, and when you take off at the starting line, you will enjoy a largely flat course designed for novice marathoners. If you are training for the big time, Surf City is a qualifying race for the Boston Marathon.
